With over 25 years of experience, Daniel Hulshizer is available to meet your need for corporate, event or editorial photography. He was schooled in commercial and portrait photography and moved into photojournalism when he began freelancing in his home town of Philadelphia, primarily for the Philadelphia Inquirer. While maintaining a freelance corporate and event photography business, he went on to hold staff photography positions at Today’s Sunbeam (Salem, NJ), The Home News (New Brunswick, NJ), The Star-Ledger (Newark, NJ) and his most recently was the New Jersey chief photographer for The Associated Press.

Having covered everything from presidents and governors, to major storms, the Miss America competition, professional sports (including the NHL & NBA finals) and 9/11 and it’s aftermath in New Jersey; he has also done corporate work for among others, HIP, AARP, Novo Nordisk, New Jersey state agencies and Special Olympics.

Currently in addition to corporate, event and portrait photography, he freelances for The Star-Ledger, Bloomberg News and The New York Times.
